Schools Will Not Be Closed Until Official Date

Education CS Fred Matiang’i has ruled out early closure of schools over arson saying the arsonists should face stern action.

“We’ll not cave in to pressure to close schools; term dates will be followed to logical conclusion,” he said.

Scientists Develop Sh200 Test Kit To Detect Aflatoxin In Maize Within 15 Minutes

Scientists have developed a new technology that detects aflatoxins on location.

The rapid test kit will cost less that Sh200 and comes with a mobile extraction kit that will be ready in two months.

Shot In The Arm For Malaria, TB And HIV Fight As Kenya Gets Sh34 Billion From Global Fund

HIV, TB and Malaria programmes in Kenya got a boost following receipt of Sh34.7 billion from the Global Fund.
